About Our Team
Janice - CEO & Founder
Thanks for taking the time to check us out! My name is Janice and I am the founder of Care FNQ. I grew up in Adelaide and am a Mum of three now adult boys and have three beautiful grandchildren. I spent 13 years as a Correctional Officer; eventually moving into Home Detention, Probation and Parole.
Deciding in 2009 to leave corrections, I completed my Certificate III in Aged Care and commenced working in nursing homes in Adelaide. I was lucky enough to move into disability about a year later as a team leader in a SIL’s home. Completing my Certificate IV in Disability several years ago, I have in my working life gained experience in all areas of support—as a correctional officer and then as a support worker, moving into management roles within disability and aged care. I have been able to work with some fantastic clients enabling me to learn hands on a lot about what is needed to successfully see my clients achieve their dreams and goals. This is how running my own business supporting those in need, became a dream of mine.
So after moving to Cairns in 2013, my family and I started our first branch of Care FNQ in 2020 with the goal of establishing ourselves across Australia. Now that we have been successful for a number of years, we are confident, come what may. I made a promise to myself when we started the business that no matter what, if we cannot help someone, I will find someone who can so that everyone gets the support they need. I believe we can all work together to ensure the correct supports are being provided. Ensuring everyone is given the right to have choice and control, while maintaining their right to dignity of risk, ensuring this is fundamental in all areas of a person’s life.
Keegan - Business Operations Manager
Hi, I’m Keegan! I’m a proud mum to two beautiful daughters and have been working in and around the NDIS space for over six years. During that time, I’ve developed a real passion for helping others and making a positive impact in people’s lives.
I’ve completed my Diploma in Leadership and Management, as well as my Certificate III in Individual Support. Here at Care FNQ, I get to combine my industry experience and love for working with people to support our amazing team and keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
I’m always up for a chat, happy to help wherever I can, and love being part of a team that truly cares about making a difference.
Jake Krebbekx - Human Resources Operations Manager
Hello, my name is Jake Krebbekx.
I began my journey in the disability support sector as a support worker before transitioning into service coordination, where I spent over three years working closely with participants, families, and stakeholders. This frontline experience gave me a strong foundation in person-centred care and a deep understanding of the diverse needs within our community.
Now in my role as Human Resources Operations Manager, I’m enjoying the new and exciting challenges that come with supporting our team and driving organisational growth. I’m passionate about creating a positive workplace culture, strengthening systems, and ensuring our staff are equipped to deliver the highest standard of support.
I’m a driven and adaptable individual who values clear communication, attention to detail, and continuous improvement. I’m always looking for innovative ways to enhance outcomes for both our staff and the people we support.
Jaxon Manhire -
After spending my younger years working in retail and hospitality, I made the decision in my mid-20s to pursue a career in the disability sector. I began by studying and shortly after gained experience in a day options program, before transitioning into Supported Independent Living (SIL).
I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively, including spending a year living in Cairns, which gave me the chance to experience and appreciate a wide variety of cultures. These experiences have shaped my values and direction, and have ultimately led me to this point—where I’m ready to settle down and build a permanent home in Cairns.
Rhiannon Randall - Case Manager
I’ve been working in the disability sector for just over six years now, across roles including support work, complex behaviours, case management, personal training, and management. In my current role as a Case Manager, I work closely with participants, families, and stakeholders to make sure everyone has the best opportunity to live life to the fullest.
I’m loud, outgoing, and love a good chat.
I thrive under pressure and never back away from a challenge—especially when it comes to advocating for our participants. I’m passionate about what I do and feel lucky to be part of a caring, upbeat team that genuinely wants the best for our participants and the community
Stacey Hawles - Reception & Administration
Hi, my name is Stacey and I’m one of the newest members of the Care FNQ team. I’ve been with the company since July 2024, and it’s been an incredible journey so far!
My background is in sales and customer service, which taught me the importance of clear communication, empathy, and always putting people first. I moved to Cairns with my son and was lucky enough to join the Care FNQ team — even more special because I now get to work alongside my family.
Since starting here, I’ve learned so much about the disability sector with the ongoing support of our amazing team. It’s been truly rewarding to be part of a workplace that’s passionate about making a real difference in people’s lives.
I love being the first point of contact for our participants, families, and staff — every day is different, and every interaction is meaningful. Being part of a supportive, purpose-driven team makes coming to work something I genuinely look forward to.
